Gran Turismo 7 promises the credit

Gran Turismo 7 had a hard week. The game was offline due to advanced maintenance to resolve a problem with a supplied update more than 24 hours offline. Meanwhile, the frustration has reached a climax on the credit expenditure of the game, as many players complain about that it is too slow to earn the currency. However, the CEO of Polyphony Digital has indicated that this could change.

Gran Turismo 7 - Waiting For Online - Plus Are PD Going To Far With Credit Rewards Reduction ? In a blog entry Kazunori Yamauchi apologizes for the long downtime after update 1.07 and says he "wants to enjoy users many cars and races even without microstransaktions". Yamauchi extends this by saying that he "wants to try to avoid a situation in which a player has to repeat certain events again and again mechanically" - clearly in allusion to a recent credit-exploit, the player through repeated bonds of the same event executed.

But it seems to be no problem for the rest of the life cycle of the game, because Yamauchi says that Polyphony the players over time "inform the update plans for additional content, additional racing events and additional functions that will solve this constructively".

What exactly means is not clear and Yamauchi could not expand, according to its own statement on the Gran-Turismo website. But it seems that future races and maybe even unique events will help to relieve the Credit Grind when the game reaches new milestones after the start.

For the time being, however, the game is online again after its extended maintenance and players can break off as previously credits. This latest update reduces the number of credits assigned for completing most races, making it harder to buy vehicles.
