When will Kingdom Hearts 4 come out?

Square Enix struck fans and critics to the stunning disclosure of Kingdom Hearts 4. In the new location, mysterious characters and a giant heartless, destroying a familiar place, the next major part will check all advertising trains. But one of the most pressing issues was "when will it be released?"

Neither during the announcement, nor in the trailer itself, the release date was not specified. However, since the gameplay was shown in the trailer, it is safe to assume that the development is in full swing. If we are lucky, and Kingdom Hearts 4 will not fall into hell, as its predecessor, we can see it in not earlier than 2024.

Kingdom Hearts 3 stuck in an almost endless line of failures and changes that dragged the development. Although the game was originally shown on E3 2013, it will not be released for another six years. Partially this happened due to the fact that the Kingdom Hearts team worked on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which turned into Final Fantasy XV. Another complicating factor was the solution to change the game engine during the year in the project and go to Unreal Engine 4. We hope that the team focused on this project and familiar with the development engine, the fans will see a more timely release.
